Upon inspection, the damper assembly was found to be malfunctioning, allowing excessive cold air to enter the refrigerator compartment. The old damper assembly was carefully removed, and a new one was installed. This involved disassembling parts of the refrigerator, ensuring the new assembly was correctly positioned, and reassembling everything securely. After the replacement, the refrigerator was tested to confirm that the temperature was now regulated properly. The customer was pleased with the resolution, and the refrigerator returned to optimal performance.
A refrigerator was experiencing an issue where the refrigerator section was overcooling. Upon inspection, it was determined that the damper assembly was malfunctioning, causing an excessive flow of cold air into the refrigerator compartment. I carefully disassembled the refrigerator to access the damper assembly. After removing the faulty assembly, I installed a new one, ensuring all connections were secure and properly aligned. This meticulous process restored the refrigerator to optimal performance, ensuring food preservation and energy efficiency.
