Upon inspection, I identified that one burner on the Dacor gas cooktop was not igniting. I began by ensuring the cooktop was turned off and unplugged for safety. I then accessed the burner assembly, carefully removing the grates and any surrounding components. I located the faulty ignition switch and tested it with a multimeter to confirm it was not functioning. I ordered a replacement ignition switch and, upon arrival, installed it by reversing the disassembly process. I tested the burner to ensure proper ignition and functionality. The cooktop now operates smoothly, with all burners igniting as expected. The customer was pleased with the resolution and the restored performance of their Dacor gas cooktop.
