A thorough examination revealed a defrost issue, which had caused the evaporator to become frozen over with ice. To address this, I used a steamer to carefully remove the ice buildup from the evaporator. Once the evaporator was clear, I replaced the faulty temperature sensor to ensure accurate temperature readings and proper cooling function. The refrigerator now operates efficiently, maintaining the correct temperature in the refrigerator section.
